The major wedding events of 2011 like the Royal Wedding, fictional Bella Swan’s wedding, Dylan Lauren, and Lauren Bush had a huge impact on the styles of 2012 wedding dresses. At the Fall Bridal Market in NYC, designers emphasized very feminine details, tight waists, sexy necklines, high slits, flowing skirts, simple silk to detailed Chantilly lace, ruffles, and florals.

Although the color theme trended to traditional white/ivory wedding dresses, Vera Wang’s 2012 Collection made a bold statement with these tan and black wedding dresses.
